Class based training for adults and middle/high school athletes (ages 11 & up)
Clarksville Sports Performance is an athletic based training facility serving Clarksville, TN and is located inside of Clarksville Athletic Club. We aim to serve general population clients and athletes alike.
If you are someone who loves to lift weights but doesn’t quite understand how to program for yourself or maybe you don’t even want to program for yourself, then look no further!
Our adult strength workouts are designed to help our clients move better, increase strength and overall athleticism as well as simply feel better. All of our workouts will have a power/speed component, a strength block and then finish with a conditioning piece.
Our athlete programs are similar in structure, but there will typically be more of a focus on power and speed development as well as extended strength work!
What to Expect
- 60 minute session
- Each class is comprised of a warm up, speed/power segment, strength block, core and conditioning, cool down and mobility
- Athlete sessions will have a heavier focus on plyometric work and speed development

Get to know Vinny
Vinny is a certified strength coach who has been serving the fitness industry for nearly a decade, working with athletes and general population clients alike. He is a Clarksville native who is passionate about giving back to the community where he was born and raised. Vinny attended Rossview High School where he played football and later moved to Franklin, Indiana for college where he continued his football career as a quarterback for Franklin College.
Vinny has worked with clients from all walks of life. Their ages have spanned from 9 years old to 70 years old, proving that strength training is beneficial for all people regardless of history with sports or athletics. He has trained athletes from a variety of sports: soccer, volleyball, softball, baseball, football, basketball, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
While Vinny does have a passion for sports and athletic based training, his overall goal is to provide long term sustainable training options for anyone who steps through the doors of CSP, affording them the opportunity to become the best and healthiest version of themselves. Not just for a week or a month, but for life.

Vinny’s knowledge in all aspects of training, coaching, rehabilitation, and nutrition has helped me become the athlete I am today. His professionalism at the gym is continuous no matter the day, time, or place. I started working with Vinny 5 years ago as I was entering college, he has helped me tremendously in the transition to higher athletics. There is no aspect of the training world where I would not trust his guidance. I recently had surgery to repair my torn ulnar collateral ligament, I trusted him with my rehabilitation process which has been extremely proficient. Vinny’s unwavering approach to any challenge is a true testament to his character. Throughout college, he has been an integral part of my journey to success, his contributions have made my goals possible. Vinny has seamlessly transitioned from being a mentor to becoming a friend, a blessing in my life and the lives of many others.

in Vinny’s case, a friend that has helped me reach my goals but also
helped me through problems in my life. His knowledge for weightlifting
is at the highest level and his love for helping people makes his
training sessions very easy to be a part of. As well, I always find
myself desiring to go back to work out with Vinny. He has created an
amazing atmosphere of training, surrounding myself with like-minded
individuals who I now call my best friends. I have worked with Vinny
for almost 7 years, and I would highly recommend his expertise and
friendship to anybody looking for a trainer.
I trained with Vinny for six years starting as a thirteen year old seventh grader. The impact that he has had on me now as a 20 year old young man is invaluable. He showed me what hard work was and allowed me to be able to reach my full potential. His level of expertise is second to none, and there was never a question I could ask him that he wouldn’t either know the answer to or research it until he found it for me. I battled through a couple hip injuries, and he rehabbed me back to health. Not only was he there to help me with my injuries but he was there for me the whole time. One of the best words that could describe Vinny is genuine. He’s always doing what’s best for the client, and always pushed me to be my best. I would absolutely recommend Vinny to anyone looking to achieve their fitness or sports related goals.
My decision to start training with Vinny was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Training with him is definitely one of the best parts of my week, and something I look forward to coming home during the offseason. The energy he has towards people during workouts and outside of training is like no other. He is one of the easiest people to talk too, and his understanding of working out and weightlifting has helped me tremendously as a college athlete. Not only is he my trainer, but he has become one of my best friends, and has surrounded me with guys that have become my best friends.
